We are very proud to say among the well-renowned Irish schools in Michigan, our lesson prices are the best in Michigan. You can attend a one hour lesson and stay for three hours for the one rate! Challenge yourself a little; see how much you can learn. Our advanced dancers will mentor the newer dancers and help them with some difficult steps one on one.
Our classes run from September to June, ending with a summer time talent day and barn party. Talented musicians will “jam” all evening. Families will bring food to share, and kids and families will dance, sing or relax and listen, while the dancers receive their awards for the year.
Everyone needs a break, and it gives me time to create new dances for the following year! But we still gather for summer festivals and graduating student’s open house parties too!
Contributions – Donations – Pass the Hat!
Because our school loves to perform and there are times that an organization might need us, but can’t afford to pay...we don’t get paid. So we have been “Passing the Hat” at some of our functions. Great way to reward the dancers with monies collected and off to the Dairy Queen we go!
We do accept donations, contributions to our school. We are in the process of saving for our own sound system! When 10 or more musicians show up to play in a large park or barn or hall, they need to be heard! We have been running fundraisers and any donation will help. Our families are also asking friends and families to donate their bottle receipts to Tir Na N’Og for our recital and dinner dance in the spring to help with overhead costs. Please send the receipts to the above address.
